Paul is a practitioner and teacher of Yoga, Qigong and Meditation known for his ability to connect with students on a human level. Finding these teachings later in life brings a grounded nature to his teaching. He emphasizes the practical application of these ancient systems into daily life to help students remember who they truly are, their essence. Paul shares his work with the incarcerated, in private sessions and as a substitute teacher at the Asheville Yoga Center. Paul is also a singer/songwriter/guitarists and performs in a Kirtan group. Paul resides in the Weaverville, NC.
Paul is an RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher, he is certified with the Prison Yoga Project and has been fortunate to have many great teachers including Swami Ashokananda of Yogaville, Richard Fabio, Desi Springer, Stephanie Keach and many more. Paul has attended a 10 Day Vipassana Meditation retreat and numerous other meditation workshops and trainings.

Lighting a Path for Youth at Risk
Lighting a Path with Kirtan.
Michael has been a full-time yoga instructor for over 15 years. He has been certiﬁed in Jivamukti, travelled to India to study Ashtanga with K. Pattabhi Jois, spent a month with Swami Satchidananda in Yogaville and completed 3 Goenka style 10-day Vipassana Meditation retreats. He now lives in Asheville and teaches weekly Bhakti Vinyasa and Yin classes, along with weekend workshops on Sanskrit, Meditation and Neuroscience, Chakras and Consciousness, Decoding the Yogasūtra, the Bhagavadgītā and Moral Philosophy, Yoga and Positive Psychology, a Brief History of Yoga and Prāṇāyāma techniques from the Haṭhayogapradīpikā and beyond. He is also a lead instructor for Asheville Yoga Center's 200hr Teacher Training and 300hr Advanced Training Programs.
