Leader of Color Stipend
Light A Path is dedicated to creating pathways towards well-being for ALL people. The LAP Leader of Color Stipend was created to amplify the teachings and embodied practices of local movement facilitators of color, so that these individuals can lead in their chosen communities with both physical and financial support.
This stipend funds a leader of color to teach a class in yoga, strength training, dance, meditation, running or other somatic teaching method to one of Light a Path's existing community connections, including the incarcerated, people in recovery, transition, youth or unhoused. Leaders must be certified to teach in their modality of choice and are also required to complete the 4 hour Light A Path orientation. Work will include teaching in the community and the times/dates vary by community partner. Stipend = $1300/yr
